- Talk with Sheila about flow charts on counseling page.
1) Retest & recency policies
The following ideas emerged from discussion about a retake policy:
- English - One time a semester.
- Can't retake once begun sequence.
- Retake once, but can take for a third time with refresher course.
- Students are recommended to retest if previous tests are over three years old.
- Identified need for on-line math prep.
- A draft policy will be sent from Kelly to committee to go to deans & departments.
- The remaining agenda items will be covered next meeting.
2) Progress on non-cognitive questions (Paul Chown)
3) Update on implementation at Del Norte (Tina Vaughn)
4) Update on tracking M-MAP placement (vs. past practice multiple measures)
5) Developing an assessment plan (attached)
