Multiple Measures Assessment Pilot Task Force

FM-110

Event date: 12/7/2015 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM Export event

Published on 12/1/2015.

1) Clarification of decision tree questions?

GE math was clarified to be like our MATH-5 course.

Questions about trigonometry placement, didn't to trig separately because of low volume of students.
Want counselors to check to see that if a high school student passed trigonometry but not math analysis and not pre-calculus, and is placed into calculus, they should be advised to take MATH-30 (college algebra). Counselors are requested to ask all students who place into calculus.
We need to double check if Trig course is in calpass file.

2) Review of Non-Cognitive survey results

3) Comparison of M-MAP placements to ACCUPLACER and current multiple measures placements (see attached)

Placements in higher level courses will increase significantly and will require more transfer-level sections. This needs to be planned for.

Need to work with Counselors to make sure that all of the multiple measures scores get entered.

Run first group with MMAP on Monday, December 15 2015.

4) Set spring meeting times
