Agenda

1) Review new scanning data.

• Scanning data does not include new chancellors' initiative of task force on work force.
• Add Mike Dennis to committee to consult.

2) Continue identifying possible focus areas from SWOT analysis: Programs/Degrees & Instruction.

• Suggested focus areas from SWOT analysis & community
• Adult Education with non-credit focus
• Programs/Degrees - offer bachelors
• Pathways for ADTs, jobs, ect
• Technology mediated instruction
• Outreach, marketing branding/access
• Professional development
• Embrace diversity

3) Review and refine all proposed focus areas.

         The following suggestions come from the FLEX session:

1. Add communications as a theme. To students, staff. The culture doesn't foster communication.
2. Need more continuity between campuses. Students at Del Norte feel disconnected.
3. Focus on the OEI to develop new online courses.
4. Advertise & enhance the honors program.
